ヽ( ★ω★)ノ;;  w-welp let's uh, give this a shot and hope I don't get completely lambasted!

Name: Heiner Enns

Title:The King’s Daughter/ Princess from The Twelve Brothers [Male Version]

Age: 24

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 145 lbs

Story:The Twelve Brothers Sisters x

Faction: Märchen

Occupation:Apprentice Alchemist

Skills: Für alle Zeit; meine Famili - Twelve ravens come to provide aid to Heiner, surrounding him in a protective barrier of wings and feathers. This is not a sure-fire barrier but it does seem to be of a supernatural origin and thus well, having more strength than you think twelve birds trying to surround a human would have. This is not controlled of his own volition though and is only used in highly serious situations: life or death and little to nothing more.  This is only temporary and does not shield him from powers that may be of greater value than its own nor is it a complete get-out-of-jail-free card as it only works temporarily and certainly not often.

This is the only skill he has as Heiner is far from a fighter. He does have some decency with sewing [and/or basic alchemy] due to his business but it’s at the most above average for a person but nothing exceptional.

Personality:

+ Kind & polite

+ Somewhat diligent

+ At least at first glance does act more mature than his age

+ Fairly intelligent on what he does know

+ Despite his situation is quite independent.

+ Loves people and likes to get along with them

- Stubborn

- Impulsive

- On a bit of a humorless side

- Naive & easily manipulated though not as much as previous but still a bit too trusting in most people

- Does harbor quite a bit of frustration however

Heiner despite his inability to talk is by no means someone who completely shies around people. Having come - at least partly- with the terms of his circumstances during his teenage years, he’s instead tried to make somewhat of a life of his own. This includes trying to make friends whether or not it’s completely successful or not.  His focus on people isn’t only just in an attempt to curb loneliness as he genuinely does care and likes to help those around him. Especially anyone lesser off. He handles his friends with a kindness and awareness that almost seems to betray his age and to some he may even seem mature.

Of course, that being said he does have issues because of this. His heart is on his sleeve oftentimes and despite himself, his way of thinking of the better of people can get him into bad situations. On top of this he has an impulsive and emotional nature that betrays him into making less than intelligence decision making when riled up or simply not thinking straight. Thus it has led quite a few times into problems that are of no fault but his own because he was thinking with his heart and not his mind.  This combined with his issues of living twenty or so years without being unable to find a cure to his sibling’s problems has worn on him and he does harbor some resentment towards his situation and himself. Nevertheless, his diligence, optimism, and memories of his siblings from a lifetime before has kept him from truly abandoning his goals.

Likes and Dislikes:

+ Sewing

+ Other housework oriented things, despite himself he seems to take to cooking and whatnot a bit more than he should.

+ Birds, especially ravens due to circumstances.

+ Flowers, though not so fond of picking them nowadays.

+ Certain things of the occult - alchemy and magic - though more out of a growing fascination and way to keep him interested in it as he tries to look for a cure for his siblings.

+ Books; particularly of the nature of magic, alchemy, potions, etc. However, simply takes more of a liking to written words overall.

+ Jewelry, as he did actually develop a care for it from his father.

- Jokes! Really doesn’t want to laugh due to his situation.

- Tickling.

- Doesn’t like being forced into verbal conversation or situations where people try and harass him for a response even if he actually a bit social.

- Making mistakes and then realizing how much he’s messed up later. Hindsight is a jerk like that.

- Very messy places or a lack of self-care; will have a tendency to get fussy over people whom he sees do this.

- Loneliness.

- People picking flowers and other things without permission or tampering with flowers if they’re not trained in the art due to how much his own circumstance was caused by this.

History:

[Summary: The King’s Daughter, whom regains his memories early on in a chance meeting with ravens. He seeks to find a way to once again change his sisters back into humans and roams Märchen in search of a cure.]

Julius Enns, a man in a long line of wealthy jewelers in Märchen had always wished for a son to continue his family’s business. Five years into a marriage with the love of his life, Aloisia this was a hope that came to be in the form of Heiner Enns.  Having been a birth unburdened by complications to a couple who wished for a child, he became a symbol to them of good luck. [The star birthmark on his forehead was even something that Aloisia would jokingly wish upon from time to time.]

Of course, little in life is perfect and soon the family would notice there was something off about Heiner. The boy would cry and make noises as any infant did but when the boy came of age to speak there was nothing. Not a sentence; not a word. The family worried as any parents would. Nevertheless, as he was still young, they did not fear it to be an issue.

If anything, his strange wanderlust proved to be more of a challenge.  A quiet child was a hard one to find and the boy had a perchance for sneaking out to try and befriend the ravens that occasionally perched near their house. [An odd thing as Aloisia would point out, for ravens were not quite a common sight in Märchen. ]

Years passed and the boy grew to the age of six but not a word left his lips. Julius began to fret over his heir, wondering if they had given birth to an ill child. The doctors he sent his child too, however, claimed there was nothing of the matter - or at least one they could see. The alchemists were baffled and in the end, the parents of Heiner Enns were left to believe it was perhaps an undiagnosed mental condition. The Enns family begun to fear the worst.

Longing to speak with their child [ and perhaps a tad selfishly in Julius’ case, hoping that his years of raising the boy had not gone to waste] - the couple began to try and find alternatives to communicate with him. It was quickly then that they realized the boy had a talent with written words. For Heiner, albeit mute proved to be a fairly bright child.  It brought some relief to the couple and to their future of their child.

Over the years, the couple got used to their child’s condition in their own ways. The young boy perhaps not the perfect child they had envisioned but still dear to them despite their hardships.  As Heiner grew they prepared him to follow in his father’s footsteps and while at first, Heiner was accepting, the boy grew increasingly restless with this future. Several quarrels with his father later, Heiner left on not the best terms with his family.

Certainly his mother wished him a tearful farewell as he disappeared in the middle of the night but Julius was much different. His father left him with nasty words, severing their family bond and wishing ill upon the boy. After all these years, their only child seemed to amount to nothing but a disappeared failure.

In reality, the boy’s quiet nature is due to what he remembers- at first an insistent promise of living without words. Thus he remained silent: for the words in his head sounded important at the time to the young child as irrational as it may have been.

A curious adventure at the age of seven is where his life truly changed.  For he had always noticed the flock of ravens that would occasionally perch outside of the house or seemed to follow him here and there. As a young fellow, he found himself enamored by the birds and made a nighttime visit to them.  The birds did not seem scared of him, rather they drew towards him. As they grew closer, a realization dawned on the youth. Like a rush of blood to the head memories came swirling into his mind: of a lifetime as royalty and of twelve brothers he had found and lost due to his own tomfoolery.

The birds clamoring around him then did not seem simply an odd thing in Märchen. Instead, as he soon came to realize, they were his family. Once again his siblings were cursed by circumstance. The words that repeated in his mind ever since he was small now took on another meaning. That of a wish to save his siblings and thus, now more than ever, he was determined to honor them. In the last life the promise had been seven years. Maybe, just maybe seven more years worth of silence would bring them back to him once more.  [Of course, he only realized many years later how silly the idea seemed.]

Heiner did not wish to tell his parents of his discovery. For they did not recollect a previous existence. Besides, although he held no grudge against his father for it, now he knew the type of man his father could be. One who was more than willing to kill a dozen of his own flesh and blood for the sake of one. Trying to spare the siblings of the potential wrath Julius could bring, he kept it to himself. Occasionally making visits with the ravens but nothing more. Yet once seven more years had passed he noticed they were still ravens. Unlike those many years ago, seven years did not break the spell and Heiner became increasingly worried and restless.

Julius and Aloisia had plans for him to stay near home and train to be a jeweler, but the boy’s mind could only think of his siblings. The young man now wished to explore Märchen in search of a cure for what ailed the rest of his family.  Despite his many years of thought on this, it was still a rash decision when he had taken his belongings and left his family one night. While he played it off as not wanting to follow his father’s business the underlying sentiments were the same: his heart and mind lie elsewhere.

The past few years after were not without its hardships. His life grew more and more difficult as he dealt with others who could not accommodate to the mute man’s inability to talk. Growing irritation with his circumstances made him wonder if maybe all his years of silence were for naught. Still, he kept his silence in hopes that once he found the person he was looking for, perhaps this years unable to speak would provide some help to his family.

As of now, he works as a simple apprentice, using much of his free time that isn’t spent on hobbies or friends to seek out information on the nature of his sibling’s curse. Hoping that maybe someday in this life he can be truly reunited with them again.

Other:

+ Heiner, as stated, is mute by choice but at this point it has grown into an inability to talk. Over a decade of disuse has made pronunciation somewhat of a foreign concept to him; something that he can certainly hear but not imitate. Nor does he want to for the sake of his promise incase it is still valid. Thus he will be played as such but he can still - and does frequently- communicate by notes and written words.

+ Can be identified by a star birthmark on his forehead. This is also the clear indication that he is, infact, the King’s Daughter.
